The latest features of unattended electronic weighbridge
Modern unattended electronic weighing systems are designed to streamline operations and improve accuracy. These platforms can display real-time video footage, capture images instantly, and store them on a computer’s hard drive. The system ensures that historical image data and weight records are synchronized for easy retrieval. Users can access both automatic and manual image captures at any time, with the data stored independently without requiring an additional database. This allows third-party software to view the information seamlessly.
Working Process
When no vehicle is present, red lights on both sides are activated, the barrier arm lowers, and the weighing platform remains closed. Before a vehicle enters, an RF card detects its arrival and sends the information to the computer. If a short-range card reader is used, the driver must exit the vehicle to swipe the card.
The computer identifies the incoming vehicle and confirms the validity of the card. It then lifts the entrance barrier, turns on the green light, and allows the vehicle to proceed onto the weighing platform.
Once the vehicle is on the scale, the sensor coil detects its presence, the barrier arm drops, and the green light turns red to prevent further vehicles from entering. After the vehicle stops, the camera automatically captures a photo, and both the image and weight data are saved to the computer. A printer generates the weight slip.
Upon completion of the weighing process, the system announces the result through a speaker. The exit barrier is lifted, allowing the vehicle to leave. Once the exit barrier is fully raised, the vehicle exits the platform, and the driver gets out to take the weight slip.
When the system detects that the platform is empty and the vehicle has passed the sensor, the barrier arm lowers again, and the weighing process is complete. This cycle repeats for the next vehicle.
Overweight Vehicle Priority
If a vehicle approaches from both directions, the one that swiped the card first gets priority, while the second one waits. In cases where both vehicles swipe at the same time, the left lane is given priority, and the right-side vehicle yields.
Prohibited Conditions
If the infrared sensors are blocked, the weighing data becomes invalid. This feature is especially relevant for systems installed in pits. The system supports communication between cameras, instruments, and the computer for seamless data transfer.
It integrates dynamic control rails, RF readers, cameras, and signal lights to ensure smooth operation. The system combines video surveillance with weight management, making it user-friendly and efficient.
This two-way unattended weighing system is ideal for vehicles arriving from either side of the platform. It supports both dynamic and static weighing functions and includes two sets of vehicle detection devices. When a vehicle equipped with an electronic card approaches, the system automatically detects its presence and controls the weighing process, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
