The SiI8620 MHL 3.0 Transmitter IC works with the latest generation of mobile application processors supporting 4K Ultra HD resolution, while the SiI9394 MHL 3.0-to-HDMI 2.0 bridge IC supports both HDMI 1.x and the new generation. HDMI 2.0 shows the connection between devices. The combination of the two, synchronous transmission of 4K 2160p Ultra HD resolution video and USB data through Silicon Image's enhanced media data transmission (MDT) technology.
