First, the selection of the converter installation environment



1. The relative humidity of the air should be kept below 85% to prevent moisture damage.


2. The ambient temperature must remain between -10°C and 45°C for optimal performance.


3. Avoid installing the converter in areas with strong vibrations, as this can affect its stability and longevity.


4. It is recommended to install the converter indoors. If outdoor installation is necessary, ensure it is protected from direct sunlight and rain.


5. The surrounding area should not contain corrosive gases that could damage the equipment over time.



Second, the selection of the sensor installation environment


1. The sensor should be placed in a dry and well-ventilated area to avoid exposure to water, moisture, or flooding. Direct sunlight and rain should also be avoided.


2. Try to avoid high-temperature environments, as they may impact the performance of the internal electronic components of the electromagnetic flowmeter.


3. Ensure there are no strong vibrations on the pipes or floors where the sensor is installed, especially for integrated instruments.


4. Avoid locations where there is significant leakage current or strong electromagnetic interference from large machinery or transformers, as this can distort measurements.


5. The installation location should provide enough space for maintenance and operation by staff.



Third, installation notes:


1. When measuring solid-liquid two-phase fluids, it's best to install the device vertically, with the flow direction from bottom to top.


2. The electromagnetic flowmeter can be installed horizontally, vertically, or at an angle, without any restrictions on orientation.


3. Avoid placing the flowmeter at the highest point or top of the piping system to prevent air accumulation and inaccurate readings.


4. For horizontal installations, ensure the electrode axis is parallel to the horizontal plane, not perpendicular.


5. There should be sufficient clearance around the flowmeter for easy installation and future maintenance.


6. Install the flowmeter away from points where different conductive materials mix, as this can cause measurement inaccuracies.


7. If the pipeline experiences vibration, secure the flowmeter with support brackets on both sides to reduce mechanical stress.
