Molex has introduced the new SlimStackâ„¢ SSB6 SMT micro-miniature board-to-board connector, designed with an ultra-low side height and a compact size (0.60 mm high x 2.00 mm wide when connected). This innovative solution is ideal for smartphones and other portable devices, as well as a wide range of medical equipment such as surgical tools, therapeutic devices, and monitoring systems, where space-saving is crucial.

- A wide plug alignment housing lead-in area for easy and safe insertion without damaging the connector.
- Robust audible and tactile clicks to confirm proper connection.
- A double contact design that ensures secure electrical and mechanical contact and prevents disconnection.
- An insertion length of 0.13 mm that helps remove dust and debris, ensuring a stable connection.
- An enclosure cover that acts as a barrier to prevent contacts from coming out during angled removal.
- A wide vacuum pick-and-place area for automated mounting, even on narrow boards.
