Citizen Electronics has developed a white LED "CLL-050 Series" with a brightness of up to 169,675 lm. The brightness of each white LED is far more than 10,000 lm, "the world's first" (the company). The input power at the maximum brightness is 183.9W, and the luminous efficiency is as high as 96lm/W (when the case temperature is continuously lit at 25°C). It is said to replace the 300W mercury lamp. The average color rendering index (Ra) is 65 and the color temperature is 5000K. The company's original white LED, the maximum brightness of its large light products is 4390lm, this time it has increased by 4 times. A high color rendering model with a Ra of 80 is also available in the color temperature range of 2700 to 5000K. The product with Ra of 80 is lower in brightness than the product with Ra of 65, but the brightness of the color temperature of 3000K is more than 10,000 and reaches 14,290 lm. 
The CLL-050 series has a frame size of 38mm x 38mm and a thickness of 1.4mm. The input power range is from 24.6 to 183.9W. The luminous efficiency of the Ra65 variety at 24.6W input is about 117 lm. The central portion of the square package is provided with a circular light emitting surface. Using a plurality of blue LED chips mounted on the aluminum plate, and a resin to be doped with a fluorescent material cover the entire structure. The configuration of the blue LED chip has also been improved. It was originally arranged in a square shape in a circular light-emitting surface, and this time it was changed to a circular configuration. Thus, when a white LED is mounted on the appliance, it is difficult to form a spot.

The five series of products, including the CLL-050 series, cover a brightness range of 95 to 177675lm, and can cope with the wide range of requirements from 10W incandescent bulbs to 300W mercury lamps.
