This innovative I/O connector integrates the Micro USB 2.0 form factor with USB 3.1 data transfer capabilities, making it ideal for thinner and more advanced mobile and wearable devices. As consumer electronics continue to evolve, demand for faster speeds, larger displays, and longer battery life is growing rapidly.

The HSMIO connector measures just 7.52mm in width and matches the standard Micro USB 2.0 interface. It offers flexible pin configurations such as 5+4 and 5+8, allowing customers to choose based on their data, video, and power requirements. The product supports a range of advanced features, including speed improvements from USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) to USB 3.1 (10 Gbps). It also provides efficient power delivery and fast charging, with 3A support that reduces charging time by up to two-thirds compared to standard USB 2.0. Additionally, four extra pins provide an extra 2A of power. The connector includes external display support via Mobility DisplayPort™ (MyDP) and Mobile HD Video Interface (MHL®), and it remains backward compatible with standard Micro USB 2.0.
