In fact, LCD is very popular now, but there are many problems that we need to solve. Then I will ask a few questions first. The liquid crystal we actually see now is polarized light. There are also deviations in the lighting principle of LCD TVs and the visual characteristics of people. There is also motion blur. TCL has mainly solved these problems in recent years.

Now everyone sees that the LCD may have lost the image level in the dark. Then with the increase of the LCD screen, the advantages of the original LCD power consumption have disappeared. There are also some phenomena in sports, and LCD TVs are passively illuminating, and the color gamut is not big enough. The phenomenon of blurred motion images, including improving the response speed of the liquid crystal, is increased from 20 ms to 40 ms. With the development of LCD, the backlight of the LED is gradually applied to the display device. If the LED is backlit, there are several advantages, and at the same time, some control can be made on the color. By controlling this, the power consumption can be greatly reduced, and at least the power consumption of the current liquid crystal can be reduced by 50% or less. Everyone knows that the main power consumption of LCD is generated by the backlight. This is what we and the domestic research institutes do. It is expected to be launched next year. Based on the current LCD products, what are the problems? What improvements? We have done some research in this area recently. In fact, our natural light technology is divided into two aspects, LCD TV dynamic rolling modulation technology, and circular polarization LCD TV technology. I will introduce the dynamic backlight technology below. Now the illumination of the liquid crystal is fixed, causing a large area of ​​sharpness reduction for some low-brightness pictures. To give a simple example, the brightness measured in our conference hall is very low, and if it is measured under the sun, the brightness is very high. If we watch TV, it is very comfortable indoors, if it is from indoors to outside, it will be more dazzling. At present, liquid crystals also have such problems. The increase of the luminous flux speed screen, the light changes greatly, and the human eye must constantly adapt to this change. Then, by controlling the dynamic backlight of the liquid crystal, such a problem can be solved. The first is to say that the brightness is particularly bright. The entire brightness should be pressed down. By adjusting its backlight, the contrast is raised for some dark aspects, and the backlight is lowered to save power. The first generation is the overall control of the LCD screen, and the second generation is the partition control. These two have been licensed to Renesas. Our products have already used such technology.

From the effect we achieved, in fact, on the current LCD screen, the general market sales of the product is 1000:1, the static contrast is greater than 10000:1, and the dynamic contrast is more than 50,000:1. Through the research of this technology, the performance of watching TV is greatly improved, and good results can be achieved. Circular polarized light technology has been a natural light for decades. Does polarized light have an effect on people's eyes? After the night came out, we converted into circularly polarized light by natural light on the LCD TV. Two people watch the same state, one is natural light, and the other is a test of circularly polarized light. By measuring the effect of vision, ordinary LCD-TV can make people's vision drop, but the influence of circularly polarized light is very small. . At the same time, we and the medical school, as well as the evaluation center of the country, test the effects of circularly polarized light and general polarized light on the blink of vision of human eyes. From the measured data, it is still relatively large from medical data. , into a normal distribution. When we look at ordinary LCD TVs, we have applied for some patents, and TCL has filed 10 invention patent applications in China. Through the development of similar technologies, the current level of liquid crystal display has been comparable to that of CRT. With the application of backlight technology, we will exceed some related display effects such as CRD. Thank you!
