New technology box is ten times smaller than TV box

In today's era, smart TVs come equipped with built-in smart modules, eliminating the need for separate TV boxes. Additionally, many live streaming apps have been discontinued or restricted, making the role of traditional TV boxes less significant. As a result, TV boxes feel somewhat outdated and lonely in this new landscape. Are you wondering if there are other cost-effective ways to enjoy TV besides paying for cable subscriptions? I recently started using an LE TV product, but I found it quite frustrating. The content on the LE TV platform is either paywalled or requires expensive memberships—up to $490 per year, which I find unreasonable. Even if you do pay, live TV isn’t supported, and it doesn’t work properly. During this time, a friend recommended me to try “Love the Fantastic Art TV Fruit.” He claimed it could solve all my issues, so I decided to give it a shot. I missed the previous two generations of this product, but now it’s the third generation. Perhaps the limitations of traditional TV boxes made this product stand out more. When I first thought about iQiyi TV, I assumed it would be similar to a regular TV box. However, when I received the product, I was surprised by its lightweight packaging. It didn’t feel like a bulky device at all. How could such a small unit possibly support TV watching and live broadcasts? The accessories included were surprisingly simple: a small black device resembling an Oreo cookie, a mini HDMI cable, a power adapter, and some instructions. Its design is sleek and compact, with a frosted finish that makes it look very modern. On the back, the words “TV fruit” are written in Chinese, along with voltage and current specifications. Around the body, there are an HDMI port, a Micro-USB port, and a function button. Despite its simplicity, it feels well-designed. Measuring around 53.1 mm in diameter and 14 mm thick, this device is extremely portable. To test it, I needed a TV with an HDMI port and a 5V 1A charger. Once connected, the TV fruit interface appeared on the screen. Scanning the QR code allowed me to download the app and set up the network connection. After that, I could control the device through the mobile app, casting videos from my phone to the TV. It supports over 20 video apps and 200+ TV channels. I tested it with popular games and found it smooth, especially on a 55-inch screen. Of course, performance depends on your router speed. If your internet is fast enough, you can enjoy high-definition gaming and streaming without lag. I also tried casting movies from my computer, and it worked well, allowing me to switch between desktop and TV seamlessly. What really impressed me was the ability to cast content from online platforms like iQiyi, Tencent, Mango TV, Youku, and even Baidu Netdisk. Live TV channels are supported, and there are no ads during playback, unlike on mobile apps where you often have to sit through long commercial breaks. This feature alone made me consider switching from my previous setup. The TV fruit has several advantages: it's compact, portable, and works well with hotels’ TVs. It supports both 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi, solving connectivity issues. However, it lacks expansion ports and relies mainly on screen mirroring from a smartphone. Still, for users who want to watch live TV and stream content without a bulky box, this product is a great alternative. Overall, after testing it, I found that iQiyi TV effectively replaced my old LE TV experience. It offers better value, fewer ads, and reliable live TV support. If you're looking for a smart, affordable way to watch TV, iQiyi TV is definitely worth considering.
