Xinjing drill
Xinjing Diamond actively sought out the location of the factory in mainland China last year, but it is still in the evaluation stage. At present, it only establishes a trading company in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, and serves customers nearby. A spokesperson for Xinjing Diamond said that the location of the plant is still being sought, mainly considering two conditions: electricity price and preferential conditions of local governments.
Xinjing drill pointed out that the sapphire substrate uses a large amount of electricity, so the impact of the price of electricity on the cost is not small; in addition, the supply chain near the plant site is also considered. Xinjing Drill said that as far as the current situation is concerned, if the sapphire substrate factory is to be set up, the company's current sapphire crystal rods are not self-sufficient and need to be outsourced, so it is also looking for a suitable ingot supply plant. Jingmei
Jingmei is currently the largest Taiwan-based substrate plant in the mainland. Jiangsu Yancheng Plant has been officially put into operation in late October this year. The initial production capacity is about 200,000 pieces. It is understood that Jingmei Jiangsu Yancheng Plant has a capacity of up to 2 million per month. The film will be expanded according to the market demand situation.
