The list of enterprises that have been included in the first batch of subsidies for waste electrical and electronic product processing funds has been announced. A total of 43 companies in 15 provinces and municipalities were eligible for subsidy for disposal of waste electrical and electronic products.
On July 1, the "Administrative Measures on Collection and Use of Waste Electrical and Electronic Product Handling Funds" was formally implemented. Producers of five types of products such as television sets, refrigerators, washing machines, room air conditioners, and microcomputers, and consignees of imported products or their Agents will be expropriated with retirement funds, ranging from 7 yuan/unit to 13 yuan/station, while qualified dismantling companies will receive 35 yuan/station to 85 yuan/station.
It can be seen that the treatment enterprises are the specific beneficiaries of the Measures, and the Measures stipulate that the treatment enterprises should be given a fixed amount of subsidies for the number of waste electrical and electronic products that have actually been dismantled. Among them: TV set 85 yuan/set, refrigerator 80 yuan/set, washing machine 35 yuan/set, room air conditioner 35 yuan/set, microcomputer 85 yuan/set.
The reporter learned from the list of subsidies that currently home appliance companies such as TCL and Sichuan Changhong are eligible for treatment fund subsidies. Wei Yan, director of the Ministry of Finance, stated that the State encourages producers of electrical and electronic products to recycle and dispose of waste electrical and electronic products, and will actively support them in policies. It is hoped that home appliance manufacturers will participate in recycling and dismantling.
