According to the letter of intent signed by the two parties, in the mutual authentication of LED standard testing, Taiwan will be the cooperation window of the LED Lighting Testing Laboratory of the Industrial Technology Research Institute, and the Beijing National Electric Light Source Quality Supervision and Inspection Center will conduct mutual certification cooperation between the two parties. A standard for mutual authentication will be developed for high-power LED module standards and life test methods.
Officials from the Ministry of Economic Affairs said that the standard inspection of LED lighting on both sides of the strait, once the mutual recognition is completed, the LED lighting products that Taiwanese manufacturers sell to the mainland in the future, as long as they pass the test of the Industrial Technology Research Institute, they are expected to be recognized in the mainland, and there is no need to repeat the inspection. It is of great significance to Taiwan's business opportunities for mainland LED street lights.
