Intersil today announced the launch of a new video driver. The driver includes an 8MHz low-pass filter that eliminates the GSM noise of the video band and can also be used as an anti-aliasing filter.
The ISL59111 is packaged in a tiny 1mm x 1.5mm chip scale package that integrates op amps, filters, and sync-end clamps on a single compact device, saving board space and reducing output capacitor size for a smaller form factor Foundation. The device captures input signals below ground level, so it can acquire negative sync pulses of the video signal better than all other competing products currently on the market.
